Our High School Youth Group is a vibrant and welcoming community where teens come together to navigate life’s challenges and joys. Pastor Brian leads the group in thoughtful discussions about recent experiences, aspirations for the future, and how God's guidance permeates all of it. And, of course, we know that good conversation takes precedence over great food, so you can always count on a tasty treat! Whether you're seeking answers, friendship, or just a place to belong, this group is the perfect spot for you.

Join us every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for a worship experience that blends traditional and contemporary styles. At Spirit of Joy, you'll enjoy familiar hymns, a touch of liturgy, and the warmth of our friendly, informal atmosphere. Our praise team’s joyous music and a heartfelt message from God’s Word will uplift your spirit and set a positive tone for your week. We warmly welcome children with a special "children's time" and invite them to Joy Kids' Church for a fun and meaningful experience.
NURTURING AND GROWING YOUNG FAITH THROUGH ENGAGING Youth Programs
At Spirit of Joy, our youth programs offer exciting opportunities for kids and teens to connect, learn, and grow in their faith. From our Joy Kids’ Club, designed for preschoolers through grade 5, to our Middle School Confirmation Program and High School Youth Group, each program combines fellowship, Bible lessons, music, and fun activities. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, build friendships, and discover how God is present in every aspect of their lives. These programs will resume this fall, providing a dynamic and engaging experience for all ages.
Enrich Your Life with Our Adult Programs
(9:00 am Sunday mornings)
This Bible study, based on the lectionary readings for the day, provides an in-depth look at the scripture used on each particular Sunday. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances and issues prevalent during its writing.
(2nd Thursday of each month)
The Women of Faith Bible Study meets at 10:00 a.m. in Jessi’s Joy Kids’ Center at Spirit of Joy. We use the Gatherer Magazine, along with the Bible, to explore various topics. If you do not have a copy of the GATHER Magazine, don’t let that stop you. We will provide one for your learning pleasure. Pastor Marda-Ruth Roberts is leading this study, which is open to all women.

Are you looking for a satisfying breakfast, fellowship, or a message from the Bible? Well, you can obtain all three at one meeting. We invite you to join the Men's Breakfast Group at J & M Family Restaurant, located at 1275 S. State St., Hemet (corner of State and Stetson), if this whetted your appetite.
We start breakfast promptly at 8:00 a.m., and as soon as we pour the coffee, fellowship begins. After placing your breakfast order, we enjoy a time of devotion and prayer. Men’s groups meet on the third Saturday of each month. Don’t forget to mark that date now! All men in the congregation, as well as their guests, are welcome to attend.

Whether you're a novice or an advanced crafter, our group is perfect for you! Whether you knit, crochet, do needlepoint, or enjoy scrapbooking, you'll find a welcoming space to focus on your latest project and enjoy wonderful company. Bring your lunch, favorite beverage, and supplies, and join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon. Come and go as your schedule allows—just show up when you can!
